Definitions

The administrator of personal data is Employer Branding Institute Ltd. with headquarters at ul. Domaniewska 47/10 in Warsaw, National Court Register (KRS) 0000408919 (hereinafter: “Administrator”).

The Administrator uses your personal data in connection with the operation of the website, maintained by the Data Administrator at: www.ebinstitute.com (hereinafter: “Website”). The website is the exclusive property of the Data Administrator and enables the publication of press releases, invitations to industry events, sending offers, sending a newsletter, invitation to the action and information about changes to the site.

Whenever this document refers to the Regulation, this should be done by Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free flow of such data and repeal Directive 95/46 / EC (general regulation on data protection) (OJ EU L 119, p. 1).

The purpose of the Regulation is to harmonize the rules for the processing of personal data within the European Union, and the provisions of this regulation will be applied on the territory of the Republic of Poland starting from May 25, 2018. The regulation replaces the currently applicable Polish Personal Data Protection Act.

Purpose and period of data collection and processing

Personal data obtained during registration and during the use of the Website are processed by the Administrator only with your consent and in order to fulfil legal obligations incumbent on the Administrator in connection with the Regulation. In the above scope, the Administrator has the right to use personal data only for the following purposes:

  • sending the Service newsletter
  • sending reports
  • sending invitations to attend events
  • approving user comments
  • sending offers
  • sending mailings
  • sending invitations to meetings

The scope of data processing

By registering on the Website, the user provides personal data, including:

  • e-mail address
  • first name and last name
  • sex
  • date of birth
  • address
  • phone number
  • education
  • experience gained
  • interests

Providing personal data at registration is voluntary. However, if the user does not provide the data listed, the access and / or use of the Website may be limited.

If during the use of the Website it is necessary to obtain additional personal data or the need to use the personal data already held by the Administrator in a manner different than described in this document, the Administrator will ask you for consent to obtain additional data or use the possessed data in another way and complete this document for missing information.

Data transmission

The Data Administrator will transfer personal data of Website users:

  1. entities that process data on its behalf and participate in the performance of its business activity, i.e. its employees and associates – solely to enable the Website to be functional;
  2. entities servicing IT systems belonging to the Data Administrator or providing tele-informatic tools to it;
  3. entities providing advisory, consulting, auditing, legal, tax and accounting services to the Data Administrator – only if necessary justified by the provisions of applicable law;

The rights of the User

Each user can submit an application to the Administrator about:

  1. rectification (correction) of data;
  2. deletion of data processed unreasonably or placed on websites belonging to the Administrator;
  3. limitation of processing (interruption of data operations or non-deletion of data);
  4. access to data;
  5. transfer of data to another data controller or to the applicant (within the scope defined in Article 20 of the Regulation).

The above rights may be exercised by submitting the application to the e-mail address provided in point 10. In some cases, for verification purposes, the Administrator may ask for additional information enabling the applicant to be authenticated.

The right to object

You may object to the processing of your data at any time. As a consequence of accepting the application, the Administrator is obliged to stop processing the data.

Data processing agreement

If the use of your data by the Data Administrator is not necessary to use the Website or to comply with the legal obligation or does not constitute a legitimate interest of the Administrator, the Administrator may ask for permission for certain ways of using your data, and you may give your consent at any time undone.

Complaint

If you believe that the processing of your personal data by the Administrator violates the law, you can complain to the Administrator.

Data tracking and cookies

We use cookies to provide statistics on visits and activities on the Website.

Cookies are small text files located on your computer, allowing us to provide better quality of our Website, information on how users use the Website and to adjust some functionalities for the logged in user.

The administrator uses third-party service providers, including Google Analytics, hereinafter: “GA”. GA enters cookie files on the Website.
The information in these cookies contains data about how the site is used and can be sent and stored at the GA service provider.
Provider servers may be located outside of the EU economic area. On our behalf, the GA service provider will use the data contained in these cookies to generate aggregate statistics and information on the activity of Website visitors.

All cookies embedded by GA service providers expire in a period not exceeding 2 years.
